One of the key positions we are hiring for is our Management Trainee role. The Management Trainee position is part of our Management Trainee Program that prepares future leaders by taking them through various roles. The position entails duties such as handling linen inventory, keeping infection prevention standards in line, and being liable for budget management. In the Management Trainee program, the Management Trainee is mentored and trained by top leaders in our company who influence the business operation and direction of the department. The program is designed to fast-track hired candidates to a leadership position and give them an opportunity to make an impact on our business.
To provide you with an insight into the position, we interviewed one of our dedicated Management Trainees, Richard Jones, who goes by the nickname “Tripp”. When asked what the job is like, he explained:
“As a management trainee, you are given responsibilities, and at times you may also be leading a team. You are invited to leadership trainings and personal development trainings. ImageFIRST is an organization that believes in developing world class leaders. At times, you will be working alongside other management trainees that are at different locations on various projects,” said Tripp.
Our Management Trainees are trained in service, customer care, finance, and production management. The career path entails a series of leadership roles, from Management Trainee to Service Supervisor, potentially all the way up to General Manager. As a Management Trainee, you can expect to make many accomplishments. Take it from Tripp – “I’d have to say one of my greatest achievements thus far is rearranging the loadout area to increase efficiencies and creating a product manual with the products’ name, picture, and amount in each package for all of our products. I feel that this has improved production as well as helped the employees when they have questions.”
